Eric's job took us to Billings where housing and living expenses were provided through his job for 7 whole weeks. After our tiny cabin in the middle of nowhere, I was so excited to see so many doors in our apartment! We had a beautiful one bedroom right in downtown Billings above an art studio in a great vintage building. We took advantage of all Billings had to offer: We were within easy walking distance from a real Starbucks and the library. Archery lessons, indoor rock climbing, classes at the zoo, audubon society and art museum, a toddler's play yard for Kaylie, bookstores. But my favorite part of Billings were the relationships we formed there. Seven weeks is a long time to be alone, so we were very thankful for the folks from Harvest church, and a mom I met at the library, who allowed the Lord to use them to bless us with fellowship, showed us hospitality, fed us delicious meals, and even provided a hair cut! Even Evie made some friendships that I think will be lastin
